My gold necks. These are Ideal stock and I was pretty impressed with foot feathering from them.





i like the first one (mine to is from ideal) but the 2 lighter ones i just dont like but yes foot feathering is awsome on them...do you happen to know why they come out light like this?

the pullet does have a single comb and is small

Some gold necks are not based on the blue gene but on dominant white diluting all colors, according to some. So my bird may very well have been a blue millie with the white thrown on for further dilution. I, too, liked the darker mahoghany on gold necks and gave away the lighter cockeral.

does your darker on have any black in its tail like mine has
 
Looking for a new d'uccle rooster in any of the mille fleur patterns. Will consider a cockeral or two.
I have a Mille fleur cockerel, that is 4 months old. He has nice feather pattern, and okay foot feathering. He has no wattles visible, due to his large beard.

I don't have pictures on this computer, but I'll post some in a minute.
