I'm getting my very first D'Uccles tomorrow :)) 2 young hens, I'm sooo excited!! And I love this thread. Never owned this breed before, so looking forward to learning. Any tips are appreciated.

I just got this little one today, and someone said it could be a Mille Fleur d'Uccle. I got 4 chicks from someone standing outside of a store trying to get rid of them, but they didn't know what they where. Born March 25, 2013, tons of feathers on the legs. What do you guys think?

OMG! These are the most beautiful birds! In my county, we can only keep a small number of chickens, so I decided on 6 different laying breeds, got one of each and got 2 Barred Rocks instead of one (6+1=7 lol) . Now I hope I can live without banties, but it's impossible! So I decided that in a few years, I'm going to keep with the standard chickens, but add some Japanese Bantams, Belgians, and a few others for breeding and show. I hope they're as beautiful as everyone elses'!

Check out my new additions to my family !!!!!

Isnt the white one fantastic?!?!!

I really do like the white/black one. That will defintiely be very unique when it matures:) Keep us updated with that little one! The black one didnt have too many feathers on its feet but more may come as it ages...

I can't tell, does it have a pea comb or a straight comb. It looks like a buff brahma to me, if it has a pea comb that's probably what it is. Cute little baby.
