Yay!!! Heres to Pips!!!!

Now I am eager to know what color she might be! Currently she is wet..

but almost silvery. Not blue, more black/white allover.

GC...the first chick came from one of the larger, more brownish eggs. The other pipped is a very small more whitish egg. FYI

Wow, what busy people, awesome on your new babies guys! Carolynspeeps, It seems common for me that when that first egg hatches and its a yeller, I find its a roo. Keep track of the loud 1st hatcher, I bet it will be a roo.

We placed 9 MF eggs in the bator, candled them this am, so far it looks like 7 have veins! Now I have 6 (at this point) more to put in, but think I'll wait until after tomorrows eggs.

Doug, the only reason I'm getting D'uccle eggs is the heat lamp and they are in on the back porch that gets a lot of sunlight in the afternoon. Everyone loves to look in on them when they first come into the house, the girls are such sweeties and run over to you to say "Hi" with a nasaled sound! LOL its sooo cute.
