Here's a picture of one of my late fall hatch cockerels. He's a mille fleur/porcelain cross.
I'm wondering if the blue feathers will become more prominent.

Does anyone have pictures of blue mille fleur d'uccles. Not self blue.....blue mille fleur.

I gave up fighting with my broody mille fleur. She's a beauty and so is daddy. I let her keep four eggs and penciled the dates. From my reading, it should take 21 days, right? I'm a bit nervous about it but the old 'matron' of the coop hops on the nest whenever my 'newbie' needs a break so I think they'll be okay. I'm trying not to get too excited but it's difficult.

I'm also trying to purchase hatching eggs from a reputable breeder- I want a variety of colors- to fill the new coop I'm building. Any suggestions?

i've worked with teddi and gypsi and both are great to work with. teddi has porcelain and millie fluer and gypsi has more colors than that (cant remeber them all) but if you look on the 2012 d'uccle breeders list they both are there :) (the names are just part of their user names)

yes it takes 21 days for them to hatch

If anyone is interested in a trio I have two available. One trio is just under a year ($60) and the other is two months ($50). Both trios consist of a roo and two hens / pullets. Mille Fleur is the color. Pics on my website which is in my signature.

Well tonight I place the first of the F2 eggs into the incubator from my Lavendar enhancement project and will hopefully see a positive outcome.

This project involvedcrossing the Lavenders back to Mille Fluer to then the F1 going back to Lavender to try to improve the feather quality and Type of my Lavender flock.
