Ok, I have to admit I'm smitten with the ducklings. Me, the person that thought chickens were enough. Me, the one that was thinking of adding geese. Yeah, I want ducks now.

These breed focus threads are hazardous...they should come with a big red warning label!

Nap time for wee baby peepers! Ezri and Zoe are OUT, but Impa keeps fidgeting and waking them back up

I switched to a red brooding light so it doesn't keep them awake at night, but it messes with my baby pictures! I put a sepia filter over them so they weren't just a big orange blur.

I lost lots of great pictures to the red heat lamp with my 'lings... They can handle lamp off for 5 minutes for pics/videos. If they start huddling, you have left it off too long and they need a break but they grow up so darn fast that good pics are important too!

I might have to! Or maybe switch to the clear lamp during the day, that always makes for nice pictures...

You have some really good looking ones. I have totally enjoyed reading all the duck breed focus threads but there is just something about the Runners that draws me back to them.
