Duck Breed Focus - Indian Runner

Their colors are coming out, but in the meantime, Ezri and Impa's face patterns are getting all muddled up, and I can hardly tell them apart anymore!

I feel kinda bad about it.

They're getting a little spoiled with those peas, too! They were peepering super loud yesterday, and I think it's because they were offended we didn't do bath time (the only time they get peas). I'm being as bad about it as I was with koi pellets with the older ones!

Why can't I stop spoiling everyone?! They're all gonna get fat!
I can't say about the koi pellets although mine love the fish food I buy for my pond goldfish but peas won't make them fat. and it's fun to spoil them.

Is integrating little ducks with the adults as tricky as it is integrating new chickens with an existing flock? Do ducks have a "pecking order"? (Sorry if that's silly, I'm just a chicken person).

Yes same thing they all have to be introduced slowly same as chickens. It's not silly at all. Never learn if you don't ask questions.

If I'm a peach then your a cracker.

That's right...I am a cracker, a FL cracker!

Know where that comes from? When pioneers first started making their way down into FL, they drove cattle through the palmettos, swamps and marshes cracking their whips. That's what got them the name 'cracker'.

Little bit of history in exchange for duck info,

I'm a genuine Florida Cracker born and raised there. Just slipped out because we fell in love with the mountains.
