Went to the window to check on the peeps, found Banshee running around doing a little rain dance only managed to film the tail end of it, alas.

Yeah, it turns out both of my black ones are drakes! I'm getting three more baby females next week, so when they're big enough to join the flock outside I'll have a nice even 10, with 4 hens per drake (if Zuko gets any... I don't know if he'll ever prioritize anything above food)

I also found this video from a couple weeks ago; peep-a-boo, followed by SPONTANEOUS RUNNING, followed by Mirage's splashy-splashy funtime.

@AimToMisbehave they are so cute. looks like they know how to have a good time too. Have they ever tried to all fit in the pool at one time since they have gotten larger?

You'll have a nice flock and a great ratio.. Look forward to seeing the new girls when you get them..

Thank you! ^_^ I love them all so much! They haven't all tried to crowd in there, but occasionally four of them will manage to squeeze in together XD Mirage seems to be in there the most often, she loves to flap around and splash as much as possible! Sometimes she and Banshee will have a little splash fight, then both go shooting out of the pond to run around the pen all crazy (which, of course, makes everyone else run around like crazy!) Then they run back to float around the pond again. Hopefully soon we'll be able to get the big pond set up soon, so everyone can hop in together! Just need some fill dirt and a break in the rain...

Here's that nonsense. Mirage is the light brown, Banshee is the medium brown (she has one tiny white eyebrow!), and Gwaine is the dark chocolate. Zuko and Azula are the black drakes, Wednesday is the solid dark blue, and Weyoun is the light blue with white (she's secretly my favorite! Don't tell the others!)
