I have been incubating a duck egg I found on Easter Sunday. It appears to be doing well and I have been seeing quite a lot of movement when I have candled it. However, the pointy end has quite a lot of free space and I’m not sure if this is a problem? There is an air sac at the rounded end. So I’m not sure what the free space at the other end is all about? I’ve attached a drawing of what I mean - the yellow section is the free space (forgive my terrible artist’s impression of what I mean), and the purple line shows where most of the movement is occurring. The blood vessels all look good. Thank you for any help - this is my first time ever incubating an egg!
