Is that a boat sunk in the ground? How do you clean it out? Looks pretty neat. I need to build my ducks a bigger pen with a bigger pool.



Pretty! I love drake curls. What a funny way to sex ducks.

Yep, we buried a boat! We enlarged the drain in the back, added a valve and drain lines. The valve is covered by a bucket, I remove the lid and open the valve. I also have gutters on my chicken runs that drain into the boat, so i usually try to drain it when rain is expected to refill it.

And i agree about the drake curls, odd ain't it!

She is growing like crazy. She caught up to her (cockerel bleh) chick companion. The chick has a bad attitude problem so he won't be staying too long. But the duckling is sweet as can be. She likes to take little swims in the bathtub and it's really fun to watch.
