Duck has leg issues

When I look up the vitamin b complex you got, it says 1mL per 100lbs for adult cattle. So I would assume that’s wayy too much for a duck. It’s also supposed to be administered as an injection. Have the other bad issues started after giving her this? If so it may be good to stop. I found this about it here on BYC
Thank you for the help by the way

Yea, i’m a bit unsure on using it, i’ve been giving her about a spoon’s worth around her food in it. However, I dont know if its causing her to get worse
I personally would stop using it and try to find something like that that is specifically for poultry. If you can’t find or order any, you could get some nutritional yeast form the grocery store. It has lots of vitamins and niacin. Peas also have lots of niacin. I wouldn’t just rely on the peas btw but it’s a good thing to add or a last resort if you can’t find anything else. And maybe since she’s sick something like nutri drench or chick saver (or something like that) electrolyte powder couldn’t hurt and may help her some. That should for sure be at Tractor Supply or Atwood’s if you have one of them near you

Another update: I’m going on vacation for a few days, but she isn’t getting worse. We’ve been feeding her through a tube, and while she can’t fully walk still, she’s stopped coughing blood, and has more control over her neck.

I’m so glad she’s doing better ❤️ I hope she keeps getting better

Actually, the vitamin b recommendations come directly from the duck forum and the dosage is correct.

The vitamin b wouldn't cause her to become worse, but it sounds like she has an issue that isn't vitamin b related. The coughing of blood with the other respiratory issue is alarming. If botulism, there are treatments, but I'm not familiar with them.

I am not familiar with botulism and coughing blood. I know there is a long recovery from botulism. It definitely sounds like she has botulism. I am assuming she is on some sort of antibiotic at this point. If not, that would be something to talk to your vet about. Past that, I would make sure she stays hydrated.

@Isaac 0 would likely be the most knowledgeable, but I am not sure of he is around right now.
