Yes definitely need to exchange photos! My ancona female just started laying eggs so haven't really thought hard about selling them around the U.S. yet but I have been asked locally!
Well I would love to buy some if you ever decide to! I can't wait to see everyone's babies!
=)
Mine have started wiggling the last couple days!
Ya peachncrm37 said she would like some too! I will have to think about it have never done that before! Do u have yours laying down or upright in a turner?
Mine are in a little giant incubator with a turner! until lockdown then I move them out of the turner and laythem down!

I really want to buy an incubator one of these days but for being homemade mine really holds temp well and I could probably fit 60+ duck eggs in it. It only put me back about $50. How do you like your little giant? The main reason why I would want a real incubator is to have an auto turner! Turning 5 times a day by hand just isn't ideal... lol
That's awesome! I will have to look into that! What are your hatch rates normally?
Well I haven't done a lot of hatching in the last couple of years but last year I had 8 mallard eggs and all made it to lockdown but only 7 hatched one never internally piped but it was fully developed so idk wt went wrong then i did two mallards and two turkey eggs this summer and had perfect hatches all made it out and did well till the turkeys died i thing from the cold they are very hard to keep alive i guess! So i would say ive had very great hatch rate! In years past it was the same one maybe two i would lose but that was it!
