I'm waiting on eggs. Ordered ancona eggs from Barn of Angels and some from Wowza. Won call duck eggs off eBay and had the lady in Ohio just email me to say she had too many eggs so she mailed some to me! I ordered an egg turner to help out while I'm on vaca.

No clue! The eggs I won off eBay the person is sending 4 call eggs this week then collecting more this weekend and sending them next week. My friend didn't tell me how many call eggs she was sending me.

The Anconas I ordered from Wowza was 3.
The ones from Barn of Angels was 6++ so not sure how many!!

I really wanted to order ancona eggs from Barn of Angels, but their website says they don't ship them any longer because they didn't seem to do well. They have some gorgeous birds, and I really liked the traits they breed for.

I don't think they've updated that in quite a while. They sold ancona eggs all summer on eBay.

I think they must have had a bad experience with someone over them, because duck eggs actually ship way better than quail or chicken eggs. I'm not worried about it though, when I order eggs now I order with the idea that only one or two will hatch, that way I don't spend too much money and I don't get disappointed!

You should get on their wait list for ducklings in the spring. I am on it too so that if I do experience a bad hatch rate I can just get ducklings from them in the spring!!

I have 7 eggs total! 2 mallard/ancona mixes and the other 5 are pure ancona ducks!!

We definitely need to exchange baby pictures when they start to hatch! =) Do you ever sell any of your fertile eggs from your anconas?
