40!!! I started with 47 and 40 are still going strong. Yep, I'm an Okie too, born & bred. I am in far SE Oklahoma. I just started selling Silkie eggs. I had my first e-bay egg auction the other day on Silkie eggs and sold 10+ for $17.50. I was pretty excited. If only I had a few more girls laying. I know a lady who had a whole bunch of Muscovies and she gives me tons of eggs so I have been swapping Muscovy eggs. I sent 30 to Ohio and 24 to New Mexico! Hatching is so much fun!

Oh wow....were the others clear, like they weren't fertile?  I let my Sebs hatch their own...they do better than I do, as I hate having to turn them all the time.

I was letting my mama goose set on most of them. I only pulled 5 from the nest to put in the incubator. So by the time they were due, they were rotten.

Just put my 9 Pekin eggs in!

Tell me bout it....I've got all my fingers and toes crossed that something comes of the batch due on the 27th! There's 9 good ones in there right now....surely something will make it to hatch?
