Finally got the hatcher stabilized humidity-wise. Just barely enough room to add the sponge.

Boy...with the severe storms brewing here, my humidity is running a bit higher than I like in my incubator. Hope you have a good hatch, GQ

A lot of the tornado alley people seem to be missing today. Probably battening down the hatches for bad weather.

Yeah, I did that yesterday. And I re-wrapped my horse's injured leg this morning so I wouldn't have to worry about storms this evening raining me out. I just hope the power doesn't go out and take all my eggs with it...I'll cry if that happens!

I'm still here. I had DD's 10th b-day sleepover last night . So far there is still lots of movement in the 2 Rouen eggs and the 3 guinea eggs still have good viens but their to small to see if they are moving much. Lockdown for me is next weekend. But all the eggs seem not that developed. Will they grow alot this last week in there?

And, it continues, tossed 9 call duck eggs and then went through the broodies - tossed 3 of those and set the other 6 in the incubator just for laughs. I am totally enjoying my 8 saxony and my chicks so can't complain too much. Love the sunshine we had yesterday here in Oregon!!.

I have three pips so far, but one at the wrong end. Yesterday was hatch day so hopefully I'll have something hatch today. Is there anything I should do with the one that pipped at the wrong end?

Just got the news...2 out another pipping.

yoie-I'm having someone hatch mine for me -the first one out was turned around trying to get out the small end...the person hatching it helped it out. He said it would never have made it without help so I'd guess very gently help it?
