Where are you at? I need a drake that carries silver.

I'm very careful with who I sell to on Craigslist. I was contacted by a lot of people who I suspect were kids trying to get around their parents saying no to ducks.

Im in NE pennsylvania ^.^

I will only resort to CL when they are about to turn 6 mo. But until then ill exhaust all options

One of my scovy moms is about to have babies! Her eggs started pipping tonight! I believe she has around 15 eggs. Hopefully she waits to bring them out until I get their coop ready. Will post pics when they are all out with mom. Now only 2 more mamas and about 30 eggs to go!

I want to see the pics!! Lol, last hours of peace for her Good luck!!

Ok, I admit it. I just couldn't let the two broody silkie sisters go to waste. I shoved 9 saxony eggs under the two of them. Some were from the fridge but figured, nothin too lose and why waste a broody, right?

I was excited to find one of my silkie showgirls wanting to go broody, this evening! I have a little Seabright hen that has been setting for about 3 days. You can bet there will be Call eggs going under both of them in the next day or two. How big are your saxony eggs? I'm trying to decide how many Call eggs to give to each hen.

Yes, they are runners. Looks like I got one fawn & white, one black and three silvers so far this time.

This hatch has been a mega-headache. I think I've lost 60% of the runner eggs. Definitely a weird hatch.

Now to go check my babies one last time before bed.

They are like twice the size of a chicken egg (med) so I just put under them what I had but seemed to fit - like 4/5 to hen. Remember, I'm up for total gamble though, lol.

I was on this thread last night but go tired and forgot to post anything. GQ Congratulations on the new ducklings! How sweet! We have one Black Runner duckling (Jessie) and she is very hilarious looking! She keeps getting taller, and taller, and taller! LOL She is very sweet!
