I just ordered one online so I'm just waiting for that to come in! I will certainly watch to make sure metal isn't reacting with her skin. I'll post a picture when it arrives!

I think just what you ordered is the way to go. Snap on demand when you are away from home like at vacation spot, or lake. When at home,,,,,, simply remove so no discomfort possible.

What about a harness when out around the public that way if something was to happen like a dog etc you’d be right there to pick her up.

That's what I used speedy and fancys diaper for it worked as a harness as well with a way to snap a leash on and attach a name tag to it.

I didn't even think of attaching a name tag to a harness!!!!! I will definitely do that once she is full grown. While it's cold out she doesn't really like to leave the property anyways. The other day we ran to the car after days of rain and everything was wet. She ran through one puddle 5 steps out the door and was done with the rain and flew to meet us at the car. Funniest thing I ever saw had to be my duck frustrated that she ran through a muddy puddle!!!! I really wish I had a video of that one!

You can even buy retractable leashes to attach to the harness so she has some freedom but you can still control any circumstance that comes up like dogs running loose.

Yes that’s is what I’ll do!!!! A retractable leashe or a long lead for training puppies. Whatever works out better I guess!!
