Do you supplement heating in winter in your coops Elly?

Nope, not at all. I just keep the drafts away and make sure they get lots of ventilation.

Always, ALWAYS, make sure that you have plenty of ventilation in the coops. Trust me, I learned the hard way.

Just wondering if any of your Muscovy ever had frost bite. 2 of mine got frost bite a few years ago not because of lack of ventilation I am thinking dunking their heads into heated buckets then hitting the freezing temps

A few of my drakes have got just the tiniest little bit of frostbite on the very tip of their caruncles, but that's all.
I don't understand how they don't get more frostbite.
You'd think they'd lose all their caruncles in those temps!

We have had glorious rain all day and the ducks are LOVING IT! this is the first time my pekins and runners have ever experienved rain​
