Have you ever tried that dish? I've always heard duck is greasy but that looks yummy!

I got my first pekin egg today! Found it buried in the mud. The layer was hatched on the 3rd September. Its the cutest little duck egg ever. Here it is pictured with my silkie hens egg to show you how small it is I can't wait for my other girls to start laying.

@Miss Lydia thankfully I am several hours away from all the fires. They are large enough that we've had several days of thick smoke blow over here. I know many who have been effected.

I guess the only pro of the drought here is there is litterally nothing to burn. We don't even have ground cover in paddocks its just dirt. 2009 was the last time the fires were so severe here. I know many farmers in the areas that are burning and I am hoping I do not recieve any more bad news. Please pray for Australia, she is in need of a serious drink. (A rain dance would also be acceptable )
