Duck Nest Flooded!

My little call ducks have begin laying,
but the way they are positioned means the nest will fill with water with the rains coming this afternoon.

One nest is already halfway flooded.

What should I do?

Are they inside a structure? Can you find a way to tarp it somehow?

That's my plan for now, they are but it's an outdoor set up, with a housing area but they decided to nest outside ;(.

Mhhh. Okay if your absolutely positive it will flood then I’d recommend moving the nest(s) with all the feathers and fluff and move the mother(s). If you have an incubator or know someone that does I’d get it fired up and tuned in just incase.

Hello...Move Her and the eggs..The drowned ones might be done?..
Collect her and eggs and make a nest in a crate. Place eggs and walk away to give her time to settle back on them..Then provide her feed and water. Generally they will continue to set if truly Broody..

I have decided to take the only partly flooded eggs in and buy another incubator. I have already set goose eggs so I'm not gonna risk messing them both up by putting them in at the same time. I got a dry paper towel and slightly cleaned them up a bit.

I know it's a long shot,
but I get attached to these eggs too quickly !!
So I'm just gonna incubate them myself.
