WEEBEEP. Thank you Banti. Really. I am honored. Yes. He will be a very handsome fully colored drake maleburd. But for now let's enjoy his fuzz faze.
Yes. Fuzz face on Burd with water droplets and sweet. :love
AWWWWWWWW - I love you Banti. Thank you. Sweet little precious and very innocent feminine baby bird sitting and posing perfectly still. Chrissy, you are a very sweet little being. I love you.
I luv her so much. She is a tame lil 'ling and the best poser. She has a double dose of Burd attitude.
I used one of these when the scovy were smaller & then I cut a hole on the side of a new gas can when they were larger & put the glass bowl in the far end of the gas can. They could put their head in the bowl, splash around in there, & the water only got all inside the gas can. Gas can was easy to remove & pour out the messy water after taking the bowl out. It kept the splashing & head flinging water mess down since they were indoors.
:thumbsup

Pretty sure I have chosen two names... Chrissy and Heather. Dunno why I chose them, I just thought they were cute and fit the burd attitude and presence!
Y'all like those?

I sure do. You have an uncanny vision and relationship with burd, Banti. It is cool. I see it cuz I have it too.

Hey, Scovy Momma- I just looked at your signature. You have a house chicken?? :love

I think all of us here are infected with Burd-itis!
Symptoms include:

Excessive squealing when viewing Burd or pictures of Burd, expanding vocabulary to include such words as hooopooose, pancakitoons, fuzzi, additude, winglets, warmlets, flippywebbers, nibblies, webz, and more, long hours of holding and loving Burd, making elaborate houses and enclosures with constant expansion to ensure Burd is happy, getting more and more Burds, taking lots of pictures of Burds, and overusing the word Burd. There is no cure, but caring for mor Burd may temporarily help this infection.

Not that many afflicted even WANT a cure.... :D

YES! She is the only serama I could get to hatch out of so many many eggs. The incubator didn't seem to be very good & the shipped eggs didn't seem to like it & it was the first time I ever incubated eggs. But I got my little cutie, Poe!

I have 6 dogs in the house right now. My dogs, the cat & a foster dog & they all know better than to touch Momma's baby birdie! I tell them that if a feather is ever out of place the rest of us will be having dog (or cat) for dinner.
Same threat I used with Daisy the muscovy & Dandelion...
So far, no problems.
Maybe your dog just needs a good talking-to!

LOL!!
Oh, have tried! Sh isn't vicious, but is part border collie so she has an overwhelming desire to chase anything that moves.... She is getting a little better, slowly but surely. She no longer goes bonkers when she sees the rabbit or the guinea pigs..... Chirping stil drives her into a frenzy.
