When you and her take your Saturday night bath does she seem to swim in circles?

I give her a bath in a plastic tote.

I take baths in the bathtub, and she gets hers downstairs in a plastic tote. Simple!

She still has a back toe left tho, I think it will stay.... That'd make it hard to fit on....

I bet she will do fine with just the stub and toe. It will get a nice callous on it, and she'll never know the difference, after she gets used to it.

ETA - doesn't look like she lost much leg-length? maybe half an inch, to an inch?

Nope! I'm very thankful for that- means she won't be too off balance.


When I went down there she was on the other side of the pen, so she's using it.

Phew! I bet she's glad to be rid of it! An albatross around her ankle. So glad you didn't have to cut it off. Waiting and watching for this miracle to happen should make your next hatch seem like only minutes have passed. (I know it won't)
