No, they usually hatch well, Calls have a hard time getting out.

I don’t think so. Some just get turned around and for some reason don’t turn back so they can pip normally . They like to make us sweat!

Interesting, I also read somewhere it could have been from them being shipped to me? Which is why the air cell became detached?

I'm not sure, I've only hatched eggs from my birds.

How long could this potentially go on for? I know my first duck from pip to hatch was a solid 24 hours. Since this one is a different circumstance, I’m curious. It’s been about 34 hours from internal/external pip.

It could take a good 72 hours from when it first externally pipped to get out of the shell.
