Duckling Thread!

Ever thought about eating or giving or selling your eggs?
Well, I have eating eggs. Unfortunately, eggs don't sell well around here.
Fortunately, I just found a broody LF Buckeye to give 8 LF Buckeye eggs. Not because she was a Buckeye, but because I have 1 1/2 dozen Buckeye eggs.
:D
Also, organising the eggs, O found out I only have 3 1/2 dozen. Which still is a lot. But it's manageable.

I don’t sell extras I end up giving them away and we eat quite a few egg and cheese sandwiches boy they are good.
The problem is, there isn't a big market for the dozens of duck eggs I get. But I only have less than two dozen now, so I guess I can hatch instead of eat them. I have almost three dozen eating eggs in the fridge now.

Yeah. Even Calls stand up if they need a better view.

We had a little photo shoot this evening.:D It seems to have that runner look most of the time, don't y'all think?
Still can't figure out the little one...maybe a rare phase of some breed? Or are some yellow ducklings just a really light yellow? I'd guess Buff over Pekin if I had to say, but I don't see the eye stripes. But that one's definitely not a runner.

Those are beautiful! What do they look like now?

Here are 6 of them that I still have from that batch so you can see what they look like. They were born July 24, 2018. These pics where taken late last fall. They are my favorite colors! The bottom 2 are drakes and the rest are hens.
