I store them in an egg carton pointy side down, at room temperature until I've gathered them all. I put a book under one side of the carton and change sides every day. The fresher they are the better chance for a hatch. But you'll usually get a good hatch with eggs 10 days or less old. I choose my cleanest eggs for hatching as I don't like to wash them. I'll incubate until lock down 99.8* and 40% humidity. Then at day 25 I'll bring the humidity up to 65% for while they are in lock down.

Instead of using a book I came up with this: It’s the top part of the carton cut in half. B9107E0D-DAE4-488E-BA35-8F3FD02D5DDD.jpeg

I've had my incubator on all night and I've just collected all my eggs that I'm gonna choose from duck and chicken . I'm letting them get to room temp before I wipe them down and put in the incubator
