Duckling Thread!

That’s 1.5 months old? Oh my goodness! Our oldest are a little over 3 weeks and getting big but I had no clue they could grow that fast. Hopefully our oldest 4 will be ready to stay out soo , they are getting messy in the brooder ‍

Yes, he/she is huggee we have 4 ducks but I tend to favor that one haha, I’m thinking it’s probably a drake too, but can just be growing real fast since it is a pekin.

Our 3 week old black ducklings are just starting to get feathers on their wings. They have bands of shimmering green on the feathers. 2 are crested and one of the crested has a big feather coming out sideways on his head. I’ll try and get pictures this weekend.

So they are 3 weeks old and getting their green on them.. just what I wanted to know! Thanks here are my cayugas... Olive and Daffy. They are almost 1 week old (estimated)
Here’s Olive..I thought it was a good name because olives are so black they are purple and the inside of them is kind of green

there should be newborns in less than a week. Excuse the mess of the noisy adolescents for now. Will add more water and food. Will also hopefully soon get these outside in a couple weeks. But maybe not.
