You don't need to reduce protein at that age. Can you post pics? Most that think they have angel wing at such a young age turn out to be heavy blood feathers.

Do you recommend staying at 18% with their feed?Looks like blood feather growth especially since it still has its baby feathers. I would just keep an eye on it.
I would go with the recommendation for nutritional yeast as well.
I use a flock raiser feed and it's at 20% I've not had angel wing. My ducks also free range - so they eat lots of protein. It's up to you as to what you would want to do. The causes for angel wing is still a debate.Do you recommend staying at 18% with their feed?
We did start them with a duckling starter that was 22%. I have used the 18% last year and had no problems (with mallards). The 2 I have that I'm questioning are both my blue swedish, so I wondered if it was more of a genetic issue. Ours have just started to free range with our 3 pekin girls.I use a flock raiser feed and it's at 20% I've not had angel wing. My ducks also free range - so they eat lots of protein. Does it matter fortified or unfortified? I'm ordering some now!I ordered from Amazon. I got some flakes for myself on the last order and I'm really enjoying them.
Thanks!
