As the only source of water? This is not possible with either. Ducks need to be able to submerge their heads often to clean out their nares.

As a supplemental waterer, I've read of people using nipple waterers for ducks. If you Google it, you may find some articles.

Agreed. They must have access to water deep enough to dunk their heads.

Thanks guys! Will do that! I was figuring that it wouldn't work, so I'm going to have to change my brooder set up from chicks to ducklings. I much appreciate the input.
