Hey! I have a egg thats externally pipped today and when I could see the membrane going dry I just used a q tip and gently dapped a little bit on coconut oil and it worked perfectly and he is doing so goodHow’s it going?
This is what mine is doing toThis is him now. It looks like he keeps trying to push out. But is still making chewing motions. I really don’t know what to do for the best. I don’t want to lose him.
How long has yours been pipped? What are you planning on doing? This is what mine is doing to
He has only been pipped since 12 pm today I’m just gonna wait and keep applying the coconut oil so he doesn’t get shrink wrapped but if they are making chewing movements with there beak they are most likely still absorbing there yolk so I don’t wanna risk assisting to early. how long has yours been pipped? How long has yours been pipped? Mine has been pipped around 48 hours. It’s 2.45am here (not sure where you’re from) I have set an alarm to wake me every 30 mins. Nothing is happening. He seems a little quieter so I’m going to wait another 30 mins and see if I can help him if he hasn’t perked up.He has only been pipped since 12 pm today I’m just gonna wait and keep applying the coconut oil so he doesn’t get shrink wrapped but if they are making chewing movements with there beak they are most likely still absorbing there yolk so I don’t wanna risk assisting to early. how long has yours been pipped?
