Please don't kill them trusted me they need tender love and care. I have had daisy duck in my house for 7 weeks and she was in really bad shape. I was going to euthanize her. My kids begged me to not... So I have been working with her for 7 weeks I have her in a quiet place in my house . once in a while I take her out when I'm free raging the other Ducks so she can be with them. she was blind for the first 5 weeks she is now starting to get her eyesight back. she was attacked by a weasel and he ripped off half of her head and bit down between her eyes she was in really really bad shape... I treated her with a antibiotic you put in her water for 10 days. I also gave her after that a vitamin supplement with electrolytes in it in her water...she can now see pretty good and laid her first egg today in weeks. I babied her and spoiled her with treats and lots of care she first couldn't see to eat so I would gave her a bath twice a day and I would put food in the tub..it takes lots of patience and love I would do this twice a day now she can eat on her own she will be going out in another week or two... ducks are tough but they probably are traumatized and whatever attacked your ducks last night will probably attack them tonight.. I would definitely bring them in and put them in a box or a crate it takes a lot of work but it's worth it I know it was for me... I would do it again in a heartbeat. I honestly didn't think Daisy would make it you could see her skull it was so bad she was blind, I definitely would give it a try.

Another picture of Daisy's head wound.. might be a weasel or mink they like to go after many at once small wire live trap and then kill it after catching it.... Whatever it was will be back tonight.

Who were the other two people that recently went through this with their ducks?

I did and I didn't have a vet. Daisy was pretty bad.... And is still recovering 7 weeks later

I had multi Ducks attacked it is a very time-consuming event and devastating... But what I did was I washed up all the injured Birds and I put antibiotic ointment on them and the worst ones I did twice a day! Also wanted to let you know that we killed the first weasel and then it was a month later its mate showed up and we caught and killed that in a live trap to so keep your traps set! I selpt little knowing those bastard were around.

bold are the skunks. They love eggs, and they love DUCK NECKS!.. yup... they will just bite thru the poor ducks necks and leave the bodies in the field.

I don’t like skunks now.

I was walking my dogs about a year ago (please note, I have five dogs and there are no neighbors around so I just let them off their leash) and there was a rabid skunk right in front of all my dogs and they started heading towards the skunk and I screamed “GET OVER HERE RIGHT NOW” so they all came and i leashed them and threw their leashes over the fence so they stayed by the fence and I got a stick and whacked a skunk boy I felt so bad but they were going to make my dogs rabid and that was going to be the end of them. Anywho I never mind the smell of the stinky skunk stuff and I thought they were so cute but now...

Thank you, it was not a great start for his day. He met a very friendly basset hound puppy while we were at the vet and that cheered him up a bit at least.
