I am glad to hear Elliot is now grounded.So...the other day, Elliott decided to fly from the rear of our property to the side pasture.I figured he wouldn't fly much because, well, he can't see, and big Muscovy drakes typically can't fly very high or for long distances. He flew like an eagle right past us and over our heads, landing on the other side of the fence from where the duck pools are and looked rather confused about why he couldn't get back. While it was neat to have witnessed, his wings are now clipped and his flying days are over for now. He is full of surprises!![]()
Here he is exercising his wings (practicing for his maiden flight, in retrospect):

I know! Can you imagine - a blind pilot??Wow talk about daring! He could of flown off a cliff and not known. He could of flown straight into a wall! Or a fence! What was he thinking??? LOL
Thanks - me, too.I am glad to hear Elliot is now grounded.
You're laughing with her! Glad it sounds pretty harmless. That is too funny..... My blind duck tries to fly away from me but she is not so good she kind of flies down and in to things it freaks me out but i cant lie it is funny![]()
