I knew that the sick deer was suffering and that we would be doing it a mercy by killing it. I looked to me brother across the way and waited for his signal to attack.

I lay silent watching the deer, I looked at Azil and tipped my head to say "Lets go." Although the deer was sick it didn't mean he couldn't run. I ran forward at the ill deer, the deer jumped to its hooves and tried to go but it's sickness, slowed it down greatly and it was weak. I bit at its back, holding onto its skin to get it to the ground

I ran and jumped up to grab it's neck in order to keep the deer from getting fully to it's feet. It was to weak too lift both their weight and it's own. So it sat back on the ground hard. It whistled out to it's herd for help. They were already long gone.

The deer almost literally sat on me, I bit it to get up. Then I pounced onto its back

I moved around to get a grasp on the throat, in order to end it's life as quickly as possible.

I felt the deer slowly die beneath me, I smiled. "Good job, Azil!" I wagged my tail

I smiled and said, " We make a pretty good team." I had to admit I was pretty proud of our kill.

"Well that's good, you should be proud." I said to him. I was pretty proud of him myself, I'm sure the alpha's would appreciate his kill

I was excited to show off our gift to our alpha's. So I grabbed a month full of the deer and Leo did the same. Together we started working on dragging it. It's dead weight was a little more then I was expecting. But the leaf litter help out a lot on the surface drag.

I grabbed the skin on the back of the deer and would pull as much as I could, thankfully our home territory wasn't too far away
