Those are the typical Boss babies, his all look the same when crossed with orpies!

3 of My Buff Brahma eggs are due today. So far only 1 has hatched. Hope to get some more tommorrow! I'll post some pics tommorrow!

oh my! those are some seriously cute chicks. I really wish I could steal your little grey one with the dot : )

I have a porcelein d'uccle pipped and breaking out. My first one I have ever seen.
I dropped by a show the day after I set and there they were. a whole crate of eggs... terrible temptation, already had 45 eggs in a 41 egg bator. bought a few of them and some lavender/ lavender split /bbs ameraucanas from pips and peeps. The woman said the d'uccles were from pullets, might not hatch, and only wanted a dollar for each egg. She tried to give me extra and my friend who was with me didn't understand and kept giving them back. I just finally gave up trying to explain it to him. So I ended up with 5 and 3 of them made it to lockdown. two of the three are the first pips.

Keep eyeing those ameraucanas and gretchen's buff laced polish eggs, no signs of movement yet, c'mon baby!

They are so cute, I like the chipmunks, and the gray one with angouti ticking, reminds me of my cat who was that color. sorry the one quit on you.

couple more pips here, no zips, if all goes well tomorrow bantys will outnumber LF.

I woke up at 1 am to noise in the incubator. When I clicked on my flashlight, I found a newly hatched chick! Then I stayed awake for an hour to watch chick #2 hatch.

I have another zipping, but I'm not seeing any movement so I don't know what's up that that one.

And S*E*V*E*N more pips!

Yay Nellie!!! Your babies are finally here!! I did the same thing, I was up for one and it is so much fun to watch them zip and hatch!

I had another quit on my at the end

The same thing, started to zip and then just stopped As of 11:30 last night, it was fine, just chugging along trying to zip, and then something happened and it stopped. Temps were good, humidity is perfect...oh well..I guess that just happens sometimes but it still stinks

BUT I had one hatch last night and I have 2 more pips this morning!!!!

the porcelain is out and LOUD. the incubator is in the kitchen and his or her shouting was keeping us up most of the night two rooms away. I assume all the other chicks in the bator are deaf by now.

the second pip is not moving but still cheeping. one of the buff polish are zipped. can't wait to see him or her.
