I'm incredibly disappointed. I was looking for the timeline for eggs from chicken to store in Canada. And I came across this information...just scroll halfway down.

I didn't know there were breeds of chickens that laid blue eggs...and dark eggs like Marans before getting these chickens and educating myself.
This website is our "go to" for information?? And this is also in Business insider?

Why not use the platforms to give accurate, concise information....don't dumb it down like everyone's an idiot.

My WR gals are going to sure be surprised to find out they are supposed to be laying white eggs instead of brown. I don't think I'll tell them....I like brown better. As everyone knows, brown eggs have more nutritive value.

Haha I used to think that brown eggs were always natural and white eggs where common everyday eggs lol. I finally figured it out lol. I was way wrong Now I am obsessed with the gg rainbow lol. I now have 9 hens and 3 rooster s rending from 4 days old to about 7 months old. I have 5 different breeds and about they will all give me a different color lol

I can't understand some people I was told that my farm fresh eggs were bad and that it was a travesty to butcher my Roos each year because you can buy chicken and eggs at a store that haven't been slaughtered and I had to just wonder what the heck has this young lady actually learned in school?
So I grilled out one day we had BBQ chicken with decked eggs and a nice cake. All made from the farm eggs and Roos. Would you believe she wouldn't eat any everyone else loved it but she said she wouldn't eat anything not mfg in a grocery store. I had to roll out laughing. Long story short she don't speak to me anymore. SMH

I can understand maybe being upset and butchering a roo you've cared for or they think you should be attached to but to be upset because you think meat is manufactured..... LMFAO WHAT EVEN.

Poor, poor kid. I blame the parents, not the school. How does a kid get that old and no one has told them the facts of life?

I blame both parents and the school I was taught biology in school and I'm guessing when she has a baby she will have to go to the store to get it too lol
