Hey there! No, you didn't buy them from me.
I was a the National, but I was showing some of that pictured pair's offspring. I didn't sell any, though. The only person I saw with Dutch in the sales cages was Steve Gould, but I didn't think he had any Creams for sale (I could totally be wrong about that though). I didn't see any other Dutch in the sales area, but gosh it was sooooo busy, it would have been easy to miss them! I think Ryu mentioned Sara Frank might have been selling birds, was it her that you got them from?
Enjoy your new Dutch, they are a pretty pair!
I tried to swing through the Dutch, but didn't get over there. Crazy isn't it when you're someplace for 3 days and can't find a minute to talk to everybody!
Glad the Dutch are going well. Congrats!
Well, that show was crazy! Never seen anything like it. It was awesome, though. There were a lot more folks I would have liked to meet in person, but the whole weekend went by so quickly!
Thanks, I am very much enjoying my Dutch. We have built a lot of new pens and I have scrapped any and all plans to breed any LF for the foreseeable future (with the exception of two varieties of Polish) so that I can concentrate more on them. One of my cream light brown pullets was 1st place and reserve variety at the National. I was tickled!
A couple of weeks ago at the Sussex, NJ show I had BV cream light brown with the same pullet, BV & RV blue light brown w/a cockerel & pullet, and the 1st place light brown cockerel. I am learning a lot by getting them out and showing them, and the guys from the Dutch club have just been wonderful with any questions I have.
Did you have Cornish at the National?
