Early February 2016 Hatch - Who's In?

Good. They may of been ok but better safe than sorry. If the membrane was drying they might of had problems but you never know for sure. Was it stuck to them any??

Ya there was bits of shell and membrane stuck to them. I'm not sure why they were shrink wrapping, the humidity was 65

How it is segregated for the last three hatchings who are smaller and still slightly uncoordinated. One has blue kote on her back due to being a "sticky" hatchling. You can see her little pink skin since she isn't as fuzzy as the rest.

Sometimes just opening it for a few moments when they pip can cause it. That's why they say leave it closed the last few days. If you have to add water be fast and mist.

Just moved my loner under my broody. Lord am I nervous. I think they both didn't know what to do... I retucked the chick back under her wing and haven't heard a peep since.

Thanks for the help! I can upload from Safari, but not the app. Here is a pic of our first hatched. Olive egger... BCM over Ameraucana...F2. It's egg had speckles on it, so I hope it's a pullet!
