Early guesses? 3 week old polish sexing

I’m not an expert but I do keep & breed my polish & I say you have a cockerel but gold laced polish can be very tricky. I do see some pointy ends to his feathers on his crest & maybe the tail as well. @Saraschickens

Hello all. I hope to get some individual shots and combine them with the chick photos as a bit of a resource.. at least for seeing 3 roosters and 1 hen develop haha.

Though we don’t have eggs yet, it’s a done deal we have:

Pickles: cockerel (mixed but mostly white)
Peaches: cockerel (dark buff laced)
Rhubarb: cockerel (light buff/laced)
Squash: cockerel (white)

While everyone is still getting along together, we have begun work on our bachelor coop for rhubarb and peaches to move into when the time comes.

Thanks for everyone’s help as we got off the ground with our chicks

ended up with rhubarb (lighter buff laced) peaches (dark buff laced) and pickles (rip, white no photo) as roosters. And squash as our only hen (white). We have since added orpingtons to our flock and love being chicken parents.

Oh no that’s it a good hen to rooster ratio ! Good look with the Orpington’s ! They are such a sweet breed !
