Early signs of fowl pox?

The first photo is from September 22, a small bump or two by the beginning of his beak near his nose.

I know it is a slow spreading virus but almost two months seems much longer than I’ve been reading about, at least as far as the initial nodules turning into lesions?

We are in northern Montana, mosquitoes were bad in the summer. No new introductions to the flock in over a year.

Does this look like fowl pox? If so, what do I do aside from comfort measures. If not, what else could these be?
