East RIver - South Dakota

Ken Splett and Nancy Wicker are in that neck of the woods and have really nice birds.... Ken is down by Freeman and works in Mitchell. Nancy has to be fairly close too and is the new SD state rep for the ASBC.

I might have a couple of decent young white males in the older baby pen. They are only 2-3 months old though and wouldn't be ready to breed til fall. I'm about 2 hours straight east of Brookings, but I have my brother who makes regular trips out to Sioux Falls.

Thanks Amy, I will pass that on to Katie. Perhaps she will contact you about yours. Either way, thanks for the leads.

Katie Roling? Her and her sister Kathy drove over here several years ago for birds. My brother's girlfriend has family out in Sioux Falls and they head out there quite a bit. I saw a couple of definite white boys. Will have to go over them for quality and will probably be in the $10-25 range depending on which baby. There is also that SpeeDee delivery that is available around here that is much cheaper than the USPS if she would consider shipping.

I guess what I mean is..
Is there anybody else following this forum, or in south Dakota, who has an interest in or keeps seramas? I have some and think they are just the friendliest birds!
I think they are very cute. However, my flock is basically a "utility" flock and I don't think they would fit with my needs. I also try to avoid breeds that are good flyers as they tend to roost in the sheds and upset my husband

:) I have mine in their own special coop to keep them safer. They are super friendly and just great birds, but they are more of a hobby.
