Easter Egger club!

Here are my 3 EEs at just a few days old. The other 4 chicks are RIRs and Welsummers.

Here they are at nearly 3 weeks old. Yes I am impatient on waiting to see what colors they turn out to be. I ordered 2 EE pullets and the hatchery sent 3, so I'm kinda prepared that one is a male....
This one on the left is the calmest when it comes to holding. The feathers coming in on the back of the neck/upper back are an orange partridge pattern. The one on the right is mostly white with the salmon colored breast and face. I already have a hen similar to this color, so I'm hoping this one gets more color.

I hope this one continues to develop the pattern of feathers that is showing up on the chest. The feathers coming in on the back black. The wing feathers started out having brown stripes on the tips, but that's starting to go away.

Wow! All the pretty birds!

Hello everyone! I'm new to having EEs of my own, but I love the breed. I recently added 4 EE pullets to my flock and I would love some opinions on which future rooster to keep. I am going to hang on to both for a while to see how they treat me, the girls, and older hens. However, based just on looks.... who do you think I should keep?

Dark gray/blue or the splash type behind him?

Thanks!

DANG! They are both stunning boys!! Right off the bat I like the dark blue/black one,but I have a hen the same color as the other one. You are going to have a hard time deciding!

My chocolate ones ended up a reddish and black color while my chipmunks were mainly white with black. I'm seeing a trend. Their muffs came in around 3-4 weeks old. I love the colors of all 4 of your babies

Thanks so much! Maybe it is a thing. XD I had a chick that was a chipmunk/wildtype ,but her little stripes on her back were red not black. She grew up to be a gray and salmon color! She's like a little morning dove.

I think the bottom one.

If you're wanting to know which boy would produce the most varieties of coloring, the answer is the second one. He's got a silver base color, but is also carrying a red base color gene or a mahogany gene. He's also got at least one Blue gene. You're going to get a lot of variation in both coloring and patterns.
The first one can be expected to produce mostly solid colored black or blue chicks.
