This EE was hatched May 6th. It is supposed to be a she, but her neck feathers seem long. As I understand EEs can be all over the place. What do y’all think?

Boy or Girl?

Do her leg feel thicker than the others?
Is her comb brighter red? I can't really tell. Buff Brahmas are the same, really hard to tell. You'll just have to wait for crow or no crow.

I'm hoping everyone saying pullet is right. She looks like my 2, they are about the same age as yours. Mine came through Murray McMurray, and were sexed not straight run. Hopefully we both have girls, and will soon have some blue/green eggs!

That is a pullet. Some breeds and crosses tend to get very "drapey" looking hackle feathers even on pullets and hens, I notice this particularly in Easter eggers. Note though the hackle feather shape is that of a female not of a male regardless of how nice and full they are.
