Cockerels do Not need a rooster to show them how to crow ; ) some are quieter than others, some are noisier, one things for sure they don't crow just when the sun comes up haha, ours would crow all day just for fun it seemed! I'm in the suburbs, outside of limits, but I'd see why no roosters in the city!

Yeah they are smart creatures and learn on their own . Maybe I'll have a mute one haha. I can dream! I'll hopefully be able to find him a good home. Luckily there are lots of farms around us to contact. Fingers crossed.
