Easter Eggers

YAY!! I just brought in FOUR eggs from the chicken run. Too bad NONE of them had been in the coop. I'll have to work on training the hens to lay in there but for now, I'm just glad they are starting to really lay. Six eggs in a week and a half when I wasn't expecting any before Easter ain't bad. All of my hens are only 17 weeks old and at least a few of them are laying already.

My liitle pullet feathers are looking just like yours and I am now convince she is an easter egger even though she was advertised as an ameracauna and looked much liek the blue chick pictures I found, but I am now confused too. Either way, I think sh'ell be pretty.

Sorry everyone, pretty new to this. My pullet looks a lot like the picture Chickenfever posted awhile back.

This is my first time having an Easter Egger chick. She's just 16 weeks old. I think she's very pretty.

I now have two Easter Egger pullets. I just purchased them from a great lady. The first one is named Chicken Little because she runs like crazy all over the yard.

The second one is named Marilyn Monroe because of her color. I can't wait until they lay eggs, hope that I get some blue eggs

Don't feel alone! I got took too. My 'purebred Ameraucana' is an EE. See photo

She is a fantastic layer of beautiful blue eggs. She has been bred to a BR. We will see what happens! Eggs are hatching the 14th. Only 5 or 6 months of waiting now to see egg color.
