That would be okay too! I am not sure she knew exactly what it was... I think she has her breeding pens broken down right with the exception of the projects she is working on. It will most likely be a mix of some sort I am guessing. I have been wanting a Blue Wheaten Olive egger ever since I missed getting that one from you at the fair, NellaBean.

So I still have to worm all my chicken...I have the stuff from Bairo. Should I worm them before I sell them or just tell the new owner they might want too. Keep in mind I haven't seen any worms in the poo...

Ha! I forgot about you wanting the one from the fair. The funny part? It was from those same wheaten marans hens and blue wheaten ameraucana rooster! LOL. It was an egg I hatched right before I sold them to her

I would just go ahead and worm them now, if you have enough to do all.

Finally everyone is wormed!!!
For anyone interested...I have a white SG silkie roo ($10) for sale..I may also have a sizzle partridge roo for sale as well. Is going to take a few days to make sure that is what it is. I think I heard it crow this afternoon a couple times. It is still a bit too young to tell but...the small comb is making me suspicious. I am still also looking for a blue silkie roo!
Wheaton Americaunas...those would be wonderful. I have a pure white one out of Harry Shaffers line and a red one. Kids, as well as some adults, love the colored eggs!!

:fl I cannot wait to incubate some eggs! I have a handful from silkies and one from my Blue marans that I want to hatch!! I have even thought about hatching eggs for other people just for the fun of doing it...but don't have a clue what you would charge for something like that.

Nella....would it be worth my time in hatching bob white quail out to sale??

Depends on how many eggs you can get in your bator. I would trade feed for it if I did it. 25 eggs for a 50 lb bag of feed?

Yes I love colorful eggs! Brinsea is running a special on all there products until Christmas (20% off). There are also coupons on facebook for an additional 10% of the sale prices.

Thanks for the advice, I am new to selling chickens. Up until now I have only had lots of practice buying.

Bairo, I am a little nervous about the actual worming process. Does it take two people to get it done or is there a secret to making it go smoothly and get them to open their mouths? I guess I should have asked when I met up with you...

I was able to borrow the Brinsea 20 Advance EX to do three hatches this summer. It had the humidity pump and turner and was GREAT and fool proof! But the price tag was a little high so I decided try the cheap Brinsea Eco (it was only a little over $125 when I got it.) Now it is only $114 (with shipping). I think it is a great product for the price. The temp comes preset from factory and I have to turn 3 times a day (I may go ahead and order the turn since they are on sale now too for $45 with shipping.) It has such a practical design. I may buy a second more expensive one come spring to stagger hatches if needed. I will keep you all posted. They just seem so much more solid than the other ones in the same price bracket.
