Well Looks like we got a good amount of snow here. My road is always bad. They don't salt it or anything. But I'm sure hwy 27 is clear. So wish me luck! Im leaving for work.

No kidding...I work in IT and sometimes I just don't want more technology to learn

Although from looking at the editor it looks like we can use quite a bit of html now...maybe I'll have to build a byc css for my posts on here.

The only thing I wish they would change about this site is the white background on the forums, they need to go outside and stare at some snow covered ground and decide if that's comfortable after 5 minutes

Bario - pretty new to this "BYC thing" but I'm in East TN - Friendsville (near Knoxville). Did I read somewhere that you were from Asheville? (AHS class of '79 here - telling my age!) I tried scrolling through and reading but looks like I've got a lot more to get through. In the meantime, do you know of anyone selling POL pullets in our are? I have a small backyard coop/run and need to add 4 or 5 hens. Thinking about Light Sussex, Silver Laced Wyandotte and/or Barred Rock. Glad to know of this East TN "connection" and will try to catch up with the threads. Thanks! Julie

Not right off hand. I am not sure what Nellabean has going right now. She will see her name and chime in though, lol
I'll be getting rid of a couple gold laced wyans, and a couple supposed New Hampshire reds (look more like red sex links) in March. They will be 13 months old by then and are terrific layers.
I will have pure Delaware chicks by May, and an incubator test run of a few hybrid chicks by Feb 1st. They will be a Delaware rooster over reds, Gold laced, Easter egger, or a Delaware hen. It was just to test an incubator.

Glad to have you with us

Just ask anything that comes to mind and someone on here will be able to offer advice from experience.
