Does anyone still check this thread out? I am in Eastern Washington, between Cheney and Colfax. I have to be vague about my whereabouts, sorry. Ex issues, if you follow me. We currently have 4 grown RIRs and 4 BOs, all of whom are 1 year old, roughly. (Got them last Spring) We are also broodering (is that a verb?) 14 chicks; 5 Black Jersey Giants, 5 Australorps, and 4 BOs. It was 5 BOs, but one died today.

I am wondering if anyone ever gets together, just to chatter about their birds, or show them off to each other? I'd actually love to figure out how to set up a chicken show for the folks in our area. We homeschool, so any opp to socialize is a good one.

How do you do a 'chickenstock'? Is that a play on Woodstock? Just a social gathering to learn and make friends? I'd love to learn more! Thanks, one and all.
