EBAY FRAUD ON AMERACAUNA EGGS

People amaze and scare the heck out of me. They must not be aware of copyright laws.

the seller replied ... interesting that she said she sells araucana eggs.... when she is using MY photo for ameracauna eggs. OMG... can you see the steam coming from my ears?


I have araucana chickens and have been selling eggs. This picture was an image that popped up on a search. My eggs are bluish green as well so didn't see the harm in using it. I will not use it anymore if it is your's sorry. I will try and get a digital camera and take some. Not a fraud just a bad picture taker!!

They are a fraud, they are using another persons photo, without their permission, to sell their eggs. Also, they are lying to the customers.

I would defintely say that was fraud. She knowingly used the photo because she is a "bad" photographer... more like a lazy photograher. There is no excuse valid enough to excuse stealing another person's artistic work (photograph).

You're generous. I assumed it was because the eggs being sold are not so great looking (poor colors, etc.)
I too had looked at that listing last night, and thought the eggs looked pretty nice. It's still there, by the way, as of this writing.

not only would I report the seller to ebay. I would also let the seller know you belong to a large online group that now knows she is stealing your picture to sell her eggs. The chicken world although growing, is still a very small place.
or we could just all contact her and let her know we are onto her scam

I just asked the seller if those were pictures of eggs from their own hens. This was the response.

Dear horsejody,

No the eggs are similar but not the same hens. I have ameracauna hens that produce a similar colored egg. Sorry I am fixing a problem that I created.
