EE colouring / plumage - chicks vs/ adults --- Post your PICS!

If anyone's getting pink before the rest, you've got a cockerel. Fighting behaviors says nothing though - Pullets even do it, and it's just an establishment of pecking order.

usually though at what age, if roos, should their combs have been turning pink, to be noticeably roo? is 5 weeks the norm, or does that vary too in EEs?

sorry, I'm enjoying picking your brain. this is my first set of babies ever.

BlueEE/EE , want to keep this one if girl.

anyone have any idea what adult colors may look like.

I want to say 'silver' for a color, but, I've seen pics of the silvery color birds and love the looks of them, do either of these two look like they will be a neat color for adult?
I have people coming today to possibly buy my small flock of 5 week old babies, just not sure about a couple of them, if I want to sell them or not.

thanks.

My gals (guys?) are now 3 weeks old. In the pictures, they are the colorful ones - the buff colored ones are ISA pullets. I bout my EE's straight run and I'm afraid I might have 5 boys and 1 girl. The smallest one is gray and is so friendly and sweet, so she must be a girl.

The others are much larger and they are aggressive; when I feed them they puff up and throw their bodies at me. Meanies.

Anyone else have any guesses about gender? I wanted all pullets but didn't know you could get an idea by their feathers. If I'd have known I would have chosen differently. For religious reasons, I won't kill them or allow them to go someplace to be killed, so if there are boys I will have to build some adjacent pens.

One day old

A week(ish) old - this grayish one is the one I adore. She (he?) is so precious. Her (his?) name is Big Nose Kate.

3 weeks, in new coop (made of scrap wood, hence the unusual pain lol). You can see Big Nose Kate on the left in front. She's very inquisitive and always comes to greet me. She likes to perch on my arms and eat from my hands.

Here's a photo of one of my 5 week old EE's. Anyone want to venture a guess on the sex?? They were supposed to be all pullets...but you know how that goes. It is the most outgoing and curious of the bunch.

I posted earlier on this thread in hopes of documenting coloring from chicks to adults, but the little buggers aren't cooperating. Here are a couple of thumbnails of the group. Click on the thumbnails to see the larger pictures. They are all wet because they were in a crate while we were working on their coop and they tipped over their water!!
