EEs from ChooksChick! new pics in February - page 7

Oooooooooohhhhh...beautiful chickies! And beautiful coloring on the mama - wow!! I hope you keep selling those eggs...I'll be wanting some after DH finishes the "big house". Nice!!

I need to get new pics up, but Starlight is a splash version of Sunny I think. She is starting to get buff banding in with her pale grey feathers. Twilight is definitely a blue, I think Boo is a blue splash, and Bippity and Boppity are buff splash. The chipmunks all appear to be partridge. I'll try and get new pics tomorrow or Monday.

Sorry I haven't been on much. I did take some more pics about a week and a half ago of some of them. Let me see if I can get them up in a few minutes. They are a bit bigger now, since that last set of pics I haven't posted yet, with a few more feathers, but no huge changes I don't think. The yellow chicks did get green legs. Starlight is grey and white, very pretty, and a pullet. Sunny is a cockerel

Twilight is a pullet as well. Anyways, I'm going to go edit and upload the pics so I can post them.

Here's some more info. Mack & Bobby are cockerels, Caramel & June are pullets (those 4 being the partridgey chicks), Bippity and Boo are pullets, Boppity is a cockerel (those being the yellow chicks). I think it's Boo that has 3 blue feathers on her left wing and Bippity has one partridge feather on her left wing.

So I took some new pics tonight since when I actually looked at the older pics I was amazed at how much they had changed! Bippity, Boppity, and Boo look like they had a poo fight today so no new pics of that crew til they clean up

As it is, you never notice how dirty a chicken is until you take a pic, lol, Starlight has some brown smears on her feathers in her pic too.

Bobby, look at the comb on him! Mack, Caramel, and June are all pretty much the same.

Pretty Starlight, the pic doesn't do her justice though, she is really quite stunning IRL.

and finally poor Twilight who puts the ugly in ugly teen at this point. I know she will be a beautiful hen before too long but the way she is feathering right now she just is so funny looking!!!

I am going to be hatching some EE chicks later in the winter. I am beyond excited, looking at all those chick pics.... it's killing me!!!

What did your roo look like?
