I think my chicken is now EGG BOUND!!! Has anyone ever had luck with the at-home egg bound rescue?
I've been rotating her between a warm epsom salt bath/soak and a heated blanket-nest and trying to get calcium into her, and massaging her abdomen and oiling her vent.
She really seems like she's struggling.
Any suggestions? If there isn't hope for her, I'm wondering how people have helped their chickens cross over in the most humane ways?
I leave town in two hours for Canada and I'm nervous about leaving this issue to my roommates who are not as chicken-committed as me. So sad
Thankyou!
