Are you able to try more Q tip to get that goo stuff out around baby
Also if you have a tiny pair of scissors ones for nails you could try to cut the membrane where the thick veins are not then pull it back over the shell gently. I used Vaseline to help hold it over the shell.
The Q-tips seem to bring tiny veins with it. He does still occasionally chew. And definitely chirps more. I have baby nail scissors. Does it hurt him to go under the membrane to get the sticky stuff?

Oh, and he definitely tries pushing. Someone's it looks like his head might just pop out, but then he recedes back in

I've been keeping the humidity between 75-80 percent and the temp at 99.5 (my thermometer doesn't show half a degree, but it bounces between 99 & 100 so it should be right about 99.5)

Sorry, more questions... Do the Q-tips need to be dry or can it be damp? Does anything dissolve the sticky stuff? Like warm water? Or diluted Dawn and warm water? I have a feeling he will be covered in it when he comes out. When I first got the adults (4wks old at the time) they were dirty. The vet said I could use a mild Dawn/warm water combo to get the matted muck off them. Worked like a charm and they were fluff balls by the end of their spa treatment

The cut would only be on the membrane
There is a little area above his head to the left where it looks clear in the picture but you can see in person to know better
Rub more on baby with Q tip and not the membrane it’s really lite movements not to hurt the membrane or baby. If there is goo it will stick without trying hard.
I’m thinking by tonight you should have a hatched baby

I hope he does vibe tonight. I'm getting nervous now. He was due yesterday.

I was able to get a little more goo out. He's not stuck to the membrane now. At least not where I have access to. I did cut the membrane back ever so slightly. I stopped where I saw tiny tiny veins. I haven't cause any bleeding 👍
